Grand Canal of China success on the World Heritage list

Beijing, June 22, according to the CCTV report, June 22 at 10 o'clock in the morning local time, is Qatar's capital Doha, the 38th session of the World Heritage Committee meeting, agreed to incorporate the Grand Canal of China listed on the World Heritage list. This is the 46th projects included in the World Heritage list.

It is understood that the series heritage of the Grand Canal to declare separately the various reaches of important heritage sites and typical River passage, consists of 27 China's Grand Canal, river heritage, as well as the remains of relics of hydraulic canals, Canal satellite, Canal-related amounts to 58 heritage rivers 1011 km total length.
