Said 70% Korea people regard China’s economic rise as a threat

　　Reference news, June 24 , foreign media say Korea Asan Institute for policy studies, a survey published on 24th showed that recent 70% Korea people's military and economic rise of China as a "threat."

Yonhap reported on June 24, the respondents of this survey for Korea around adults over the age of 19. Results show that 66.4% of respondents put the military rise of China as a threat. The rate compared with the 2012 survey (73%) fell slightly. In contrast, the economic rise of China as a threat of respondents was 71.9%, compared with the 2012 survey (52.7%) by 19%. For no reason the military rise of China as a threat, 50% of respondents answered "there is no tension on the Korean peninsula."

In addition, 57% per cent of the respondents expressed support for the ROK-US-Japan security cooperation, only 30% of those surveyed expressed support for the Sino-South Korea security cooperation. Nevertheless, the Korea people's degree of goodwill to China (out of 10) from 2011 rose 3.93 points to this year's 4.85 points. (End)
