Google Now on Tap:Android m killer-Google Developer Conference, Google IO Conference-IT information

On May 29, published an article today by Bloomberg News said Google 2015 annual Google I/O Developer Conference, held on Thursday launched the "Now on Tap" new features, will have a significant impact on the company's future. For many years, due to the rise of the mobile application and independent of user experience, Google has seen its core products--the importance of search-is declining. Users are attracted by more and more applications, these applications do not search for binding or not frequent users of search services on the Internet. As a result, Google on the surfing habits of consumers, the interests and needs of control are at risk of falling.

However, after Thursday's I/O Developer Conference, Google might be to reverse the trend.

Google demonstrates the new features of the Android operating system "Now on Tap", allowing it to GoogleNow service (focusing on the lives and interests of voice Assistant) implanted as the underlying operating system, basically supports any application that runs on the user's phone or tablet. Just double-click the home button to start, "Now on Tap" can be everywhere. This means that when a user doing almost anything, have access to information related to search, if Google can take text and data transfer from the application itself. And it is most laudable, application developers do not make any change to their existing software, can make "Now on Tap" to provide users with search and relevant contextual information.

For example, when users use Spotify to listen to a song, you can search for more information about the singer, or when the user is talking about a restaurant on WhatsApp, Google can Now access data about the restaurant and even help users make a reservation. "Now on Tap" is not only a feature of Google Now, but an aide to the entire operating system.

"Now on Tap," is a major initiative of Google, which has two reasons. First of all, it does allow Google to return master network status and acts as a glue-like role, helping users make integration of the digital life. The past, Google could flourish, and everywhere on the network, because it has a tracking, integrating and understanding function. Now, with "Now on Tap", Google for each application running on the user's phone can also perform the same function. "Now on Tap" through the use of the lingua franca of the app, Google provides search services for applications. It allows Google to access a user's behavior and needs, so as to give the company a second life.

Secondly, the "Now on Tap" shows how Google can act as interconnect layer between application-neutral platform between one or two operations. How can we use mobile devices, and how to cooperate between the mobile application, this would be a change. At present, in order to allow interaction between different applications, we must be defined using the operating system tool (that is, the rules or operating system developer). But just think, if the developer does not need to consider their application to problem in conjunction with other applications? Also, if "Now on Tap" full awareness of the core functionality of the application, and can predict how users want to use the application, and then let the application run according to their needs?

This is Now on Tap the end goal, but this will change the rules of the game.

However, "Now on Tap" technology has its limitations. The service will never have a chance to enter the closed Apple's iOS operating system (and in fact, Apple will no doubt follow this concept). Google must also prove that natural language processing functions is powerful enough, to achieve the company's promise: provide a seamless experience for the user.

However, if the "Now on Tap" like Google in San Francisco on Thursday on the stage show is impressive, devices open up a whole new world for us, one is more connected than ever to the world.
