中国驻荷兰使馆证实1名中国留学生落水身亡|荷兰|中国留学生_新闻资讯

　　新华社海牙3月7日电(记者刘芳)中国驻荷兰使馆教育处7日证实，荷兰代尔夫特理工大学一名中国女留学生日前落水后身亡，中国驻荷兰使馆已与该大学及荷兰警方等机构接洽，并将按照留学生家长的意见协助处理。

　　中国驻荷兰使馆教育参赞孟庆瑜告诉新华社记者，在获得该消息后，使馆教育处人员第一时间赶到代尔夫特理工大学了解情况，并约见当地警方和大学有关负责人。据了解，两名中国留学生5日夜间在代尔夫特参加一艘游船上的晚会，期间不慎落水。其中一人被救上岸，送往医院救治后脱离危险；另一人稍晚被救上岸后送医，因抢救无效于6日死亡。不幸身亡的学生26岁，是自费留学生，正攻读硕士学位。

　　孟庆瑜说，中国留学生不幸溺亡令人十分痛心。溺水原因目前尚不清楚，荷兰警方和医院正在调查，调查结果暂未对外公开。中国驻荷兰使馆正在积极联系学生家长，将为学生家长申请来荷兰签证提供帮助，并在职责范围内提供力所能及的帮助。

　　孟庆瑜表示，希望留学生加强自我保护，提高安全风险意识，避免类似悲剧再次发生。中国驻荷兰使馆教育处将进一步加强对留学生的安全教育。
