Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, March 7-7th heard from China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation, academician of Chinese Academy of engineering, the third World Academy of Sciences, academician of national top science and technology award, the 2007 winner, China's oil refineries of the catalytic science founder min enze, passed away because of illness in Beijing on March 7, 2016 5:5, at the age of 93.

In the 1970 of the 20th century, he directed the successful development of semisynthetic Y-7 low cost zeolite catalyst in 1985 by national science and technology progress award, he also developed the residue catalytic cracking catalyst and its major active components usy zeolite y-type zeolite, rare earth, molybdenum catalysts for hydrogenation of NI-p, and refinery catalysts in China to catch up to the world advanced level.


Since in the 1980 of the 20th century, he hosted "environment-friendly petroleum chemical Catalysis and reaction engineering" project promotes broad green chemistry research in China, "amorphous alloy catalyst and magnetically stabilized bed reaction technology innovation and integration" won the 2005 first prize of national invention awards.

  新华社北京3月7日电 记者7日从中国石油化工集团公司获悉,中国科学院院士、中国工程院院士、第三世界科学院院士、2007年度国家最高科学技术奖获得者、我国炼油催化应用科学的奠基者闵恩泽,因病于2016年3月7日5时5分在北京逝世,享年93岁。


  闵恩泽院士主要从事石油炼制催化剂制造技术领域研究,是中国炼油催化应用科学的奠基者,石油化工技术自主创新的先行者,绿色化学的开拓者,在国内外石油化工界享有崇高的声誉。他于1980年当选为中国科学院院士,1994年当选为中国工程院院士,1993年当选为第三世界科学院院士。


  闵恩泽1924年2月出生。上世纪50年代,在美国取得博士学位并已工作的闵恩泽,毅然放弃优裕的生活,携妻回国。他冲破重重阻挠,绕道香港终于踏上故土,并迅速投身新中国的石油炼化事业。


  20世纪60年代初,闵恩泽参加并指导完成了移动床催化裂化小球硅铝催化剂,流化床催化裂化微球硅铝催化剂,铂重整催化剂和固定床烯烃叠合磷酸硅藻土催化剂制备技术的消化吸收再创新和产业化,打破了国外技术封锁,满足了国家急需。


  20世纪70年代,他指导开发成功的Y-7型低成本半合成分子筛催化剂获1985年国家科技进步奖二等奖,他还开发成功了渣油催化裂化催化剂及其重要活性组分超稳Y型分子筛、稀土Y型分子筛,以及钼镍磷加氢精制催化剂,使中国炼油催化剂迎头赶上世界先进水平。


  20世纪80年代以来,他主持的“环境友好石油化工催化化学和反应工程”项目推动了中国绿色化学研究的广泛开展,“非晶态合金催化剂和磁稳定床反应工艺的创新与集成”获得2005年国家技术发明奖一等奖。


  国际小行星中心2010年9月23日发布公报,将第30991号小行星永久命名为“闵恩泽星”。
