王海手边放着两部手机，此起彼伏地响，各种业务的电话。

“骗子太多了，根本接不过来。”坐在《第一财经日报》记者对面，他是一个面容憨厚略微有点发胖的中年男人，但对他的雇主来说，王海是他们现在需要拐着弯儿才能请得动的人，尽管他收费不低。

“以赚钱为手段，以打假为目的。”王海在微博中这样介绍自己。

市场流行的一个说法是，他现在接一个“案子”的起步价是30万，最多的时候，一个“单子”曾经赚到400万。

最多的时候，他的打假团队有200多人，但出于风险控制的考虑，目前已经精简至30多人。

“我们有意控制公司规模，不想做得太大，也是希望能控制风险，更多的人身风险来自于造假工厂，往往这种案子的收益和风险都会成倍增加。”王海表示。

2003年，律师黄立荣的突然死亡，让王海真正开始重视风险控制。

“企业造假的事情，追到最后几乎都是地方保护，难度可想而知”王海向《第一财经日报》透露，“不过这也没关系。”

王海回避了后面一种指责，他强调，如果一个案子，可以寻求庭下和解，对双方的时间、精力和经济来说，都是“最合算”的选择。

近年来，王海接手了很多关于假药的案子，王海的假药案件一般是按产品数量收费，查一件货几百元钱甚至几十元钱都有，数量通常很大，联合工商、食药监帮企业截获后，最后按件来计费。

随着互联网经济的发展，假货都插上了互联网的翅膀，相比从前开始几何倍数地传播，对于打假增加了难度。

商业项目之外，王海有两个公益项目一直在做，接待消费者维权保护的“王海热线”，以及“和谐社区发展中心”项目，旨在帮助业主成立委员会，保护合法权益不受侵害。

但他的终极梦想是做中国的消费者维权委员会，这个被他称为“孩儿他妈协会”的组织将自己成立第三方独立检测实验室，消费者拿来商品就可以做检测，是那种真正地为消费者维权的机构。
