WiFi断流问题迟迟没有解决方案

当HTC One M9+定出4999元的价格之后，小米旗下采用MT6795的红米Note 3系列，却开出了899元的起售价格，即便是高配版，也不过只有1199元，这样的低价直接拉低了MT6795的定位，与联发科的定位差之千里。
小米的做法引起了联发科内部的不满，消息称内部员工在这件事情上给出了这样的看法，“这份合约，是把如精品般的高阶4G芯片曦力，当作地摊货在卖”，对此，联发科副董事长谢清江在2015年下半年的一次一级主管会议上，透露了高层对于签下小米订单的考虑。
谢清江的原话后来被众多媒体转载，“我只有2个选择，一个是含泪数钞票，一个是含泪不数钞票”，现实的结果是，联发科选择了前者。
到了今年的旗舰MT6797身上，这个问题似乎仍然没有解决，甚至更为夸张，继小米之后，奇酷也可能会加入“杀价帮”，型号为QK1503-M02的新机售价也可能会卡在999元的价格点上。
MT6797救赎可能不会完美
MT6795错过了绝杀的机会，接下来的MT6797更多时候要扮演的是救场的角色。
根据官方公布的消息，联发科MT6797采用了三丛集（Tri-Cluster）架构，内含两个高性能2.5GHz A72核心，四个负责中等负载任务的2.0GHz A53核心，以及四个负责轻度负载任务的1.4GHz A53核心，加起来10个核心可能是这款处理器为数不多的卖点之一，毕竟高通在售的方案还停留在四核时代。
10核心之外，MT6797的其他规格和它的前序产品MT6795基本一致，主要是无线SOC做了一些小改进，比如首次定位漂移的问题，问题恰恰就在这里，X20也可能会出现WiFi断流的问题，更早之前，采用了一体化无线SoC的MT6595也一样被爆出这个问题。
基带方面，骁龙820已经上了X12 LTE，支持Cat.12和Cat.13，理论上支持下行600Mbps、上行150Mbps，而MT6797集成的只是Cat.6，而这一点在麒麟950身上就被吐槽的体无完肤，甚至有消息称，麒麟950在基带上就会被骁龙820吊打。
一个值得关注的现象，从曝光的消息来看，即将曝光的新机潮当中，越来越多的国产品牌的高端旗舰上了骁龙820，标准版用的才是MT6797，甚至一些厂商还把目光转向了骁龙652，这也可能成为MT6797“救火”过程中的障碍。
好消息是微软在敞开怀抱
从合作伙伴的选择来看，联发科目前的绝大部分芯片都供应给了安卓厂商，这与安卓市场份额密不可分，但牢牢地把自己全在安卓市场，则意味着联发科也失去了份额进一步扩大的可能，而能够给联发科新希望的是微软。
到目前为止，微软在桌面市场的主要合作伙伴是英特尔，在移动市场的合作伙伴成了高通，但是给联发科的大门却一直紧闭，不过这个情况正在逐步的改善。
今年MWC2016展会上公布的消息显示，传言微软已经为迎接联发科做好了准备，Win10 Mobile操作系统在技术上已经可以做到兼容MTK的标准，计划在硬件方面启用MTK处理器。
但对联发科来说，和微软合作也有不太乐观的地方，核心的一点是目前Windows Phone的市场份额太小，如果这个局面长期的不到改观，联发科的芯片出货仍然没法迈向更高的台阶，而且微软阵营OEM主要以进军新兴市场为主，通俗的说主要产品都是低端机，这也会成为联发科逐步迈向高端市场的掣肘。
牵手微软，不可忽视的一点则是微软的专利授权，尽管在短时间内双方的合作无法为联发科的芯片出货带来实质性的改变，却有获得授权优惠的可能，这种授权的规模效应在安卓市场会很快表现出来，快速扩大联发科的芯片利润空间。
