去年11月，有消息称牛电科技创始人李一男，因涉嫌内幕交易已被证监会带走调查。牛电科技当时向新浪科技回应称，李一男因身体原因正在美国，“病的有点重”。李一男也随后发微博称，“创业的路上，不畏惧莫名的压力”。
但根据检方材料，早在2015年6月3日，李一男就因涉嫌内幕交易罪被深圳市公安局刑事拘留。
检方指控中，李一男涉嫌内幕交易发生于其在金沙江创投任职期间。检方指控称：李一男在2014年4月，通过其妹夫和母亲的股票交易账户，满仓武汉华中数控股份有限公司，成交额达到1148万余元，实际获利508万。他还让其妹妹同期购买该华中数控，成交金额在499万余元，实际获利有236万余元。李一男则对指控予以否认。
