3月4日上午，中纪委网站公布，十二届全国人大教育科学文化卫生委员会副主任委员王珉涉嫌严重违纪，目前正接受组织调查。
当天上午，十二届全国人大四次会议举办预备会议，选举大会主席团和秘书长，表决会议议程草案。《法制晚报》(微信ID：fzwb_52165216)记者从王珉所在驻地酒店的一名工作人员处了解到，3月4日上午早饭后，人大代表们在驻地等待前往人民大会堂参加预备会议，王珉就是在这段时间从酒店被带走。
记者发现，王珉被带走当天，王珉所在驻地酒店对于进入人员的身份审核很严格，若要联系采访辽宁团的人大代表，也不能直接上楼，只能在一楼大厅等待。
王珉被带走的第二天，即3月5日下午，在第十二届全国人民代表大会第四次会议辽宁省代表团全体会议上，辽宁省委书记李希表示，辽宁省委坚决拥护中央关于王珉涉嫌严重违纪，目前正接受组织调查的决定。
李希表示，昨天的预备大会和主席团大会结束后，回到驻地的第一时间就召开了辽宁代表团临时党支部会议，传达了中央关于王珉涉嫌严重违纪，目前正接受组织调查的决定。昨天下午3点，还专门召开了全团会议，向全体代表传达中央精神。

44岁入仕 50岁跻身省委常委
出生于1950年的王珉是安徽人，今年3月刚满66岁，他18岁到公社插队，3年后成为一名化工机械厂的工人。25岁时，王珉结束工厂的工作，进入安徽省淮南煤炭学院机电系矿机专业学习3年，毕业后留校任教，之后开始了长达16年的学习、教育生涯。期间王珉拿到机械制造工程硕士、博士学位，并在南京航空大学任职，历任机械制造系副主任、院秘书长、副院长、副校长，40岁时被破格评为教授。
王珉的仕途，真正起步于1994年。当时，此前无任何从政经验的王珉直接出任江苏省省长助理一职，此后，其在政界可谓一路升迁，2年后出任江苏省副省长，6年后兼任苏州市市委书记，进入江苏省委常委行列。
值得一提的是，王珉在主政苏州的两年期间，大力推动公有制企业改革，创造了“一年半的时间完成1034家国企改制”的纪录。
主推“苏州模式” 发生“通钢事件”
2003年10月，中共中央、国务院发布《关于实施东北地区等老工业基地振兴战略的若干意见》，支持东北地区等老工业基地加快调整改造。
一年后，2004年10月，王珉调任吉林省工作，任吉林省委副书记、副省长、代省长。3个月后，王珉出任吉林省委副书记、省长，2006年11月，出任吉林省省委书记一职。
据了解，王珉在吉主政期间，延续了“苏州模式”的改革思路，推动吉林省的国有企业改革。
有媒体报道称，王珉曾表示，“我们采取了一些超常规的办法。实施国企改革攻坚计划，按我的说法就是要‘连锅底抄’，把最难的解决好，不留下任何问题，这也是吉林国企改革的最大特点。”
引发全国震惊的“吉林通钢事件”就发生在王珉在吉林任职期间。
2005年7月24日，吉林通化钢铁公司个别内退人员及退休人员利用“通钢企业重组等问题”制造谣言，鼓动一些不明真相的工人闹事，千余人在厂区聚集，要求建龙撤出通钢，并殴打了新任总经理陈国军，后者经抢救无效死亡。
次日，吉林省国资委及吉林省政府发出红头文件——吉林省政府决定终止建龙集团控股通钢集团的方案，不再实施。
"通钢事件’就是在王珉主政时发生的，他只知道政绩，不顾老百姓的利益。” 一位王姓吉林省委办公厅退休干部说。

当地官员：王珉打着改革的幌子为自己获利
据了解，随着《关于实施东北地区等老工业基地振兴战略的若干意见》的实施，江苏的民营企业纷纷到吉林省投资。
“打着改革幌子，说是为老百姓谋福利，其实还是为苏州的企业获利，为自己获利。”王姓干部说。
记者了解到，这位退休干部所说的是江苏省某知名民营企业集团，在吉林省涉足金融、能源、基础设施等领域。在金融方面，该企业集团入股吉林银行；在能源方面，进行风电投资开发；在基础建设方面，进行吉林省高速公路的投资与建设，并在环境基础设施建设中参与改造工程。
“已经进去好几个了，现在王珉也进去了，正好一锅端。” 王姓干部说。
记者从王姓干部的口中了解到，“一锅端”分别指的是：原吉林省人民政府常务副省长，吉林银行党委书记、董事长田学仁，2011年11月5日，涉嫌严重违纪，接受组织调查，2013年11月，被判处无期徒刑，剥夺政治权利终身，并处没收个人全部财产；原吉林高速公路董事长韩增义，2015年3月，因涉嫌严重违纪，接受组织调查；原吉林省人民政府副秘书长王树森（此前任吉林省交通厅厅长），2015年8月，因涉嫌严重违纪，接受组织调查。
去年辽宁GDP增速3% 23年来最低
2009年11月，吉林省高层调整，其中王珉卸任吉林省省委书记，调任辽宁省任省委书记。王珉在就职时称：“在东北三省中，辽宁经济总量最大，工业化程度最高，发展的基础最为雄厚，我深感责任重大，担子很重。我将始终以辽宁人民的福祉为重，以实现辽宁全面振兴为己任，清白做人，干净做事。”
“他到辽宁后，最大的作为就是不作为。这几年，没干一件实事，去年（GDP增速）更是倒数第一。”辽宁省发改委的一位退休干部说。
《法制晚报》记者通过查阅辽宁省统计局发布的辽宁省国民经济和社会发展统计公报得知，辽宁省2015年以3%的GDP增速，创下了23年以来的最低值，增速排在全国倒数第一位，同年全国的平均水平是6.9%。
此外，数据还显示，王珉在辽宁任职期间，辽宁经济增长总体呈现下滑态势。2010年辽宁GDP增速为14.1%，2011年增速为12.1%，2012年增速为14.1%，2013年增速为8.7%，2014增速为5.8%。
2015年5月，王珉卸任辽宁省省委书记一职，两月后，他任第十二届全国人民代表大会教育科学文化卫生委员会副主任委员。
法制晚报(微信ID：fzwb_52165216)记者留意到，王珉曾在中组部《党建研究》上发文《始终牢记“四有要求” 推动辽宁新一轮振兴发展》，文中写道：“当前，随着经济发展进入新常态、全面深化改革进入攻坚期和国家新一轮东北振兴战略的深入实施，辽宁改革发展稳定任务更加艰巨繁重，我们要按照‘四有’要求，进一步坚定理想信念，切实提高履职尽责能力，努力在推进东北老工业基地新一轮振兴发展中打头阵、当表率，做出新贡献……我们各级领导干部在使用权力时，必须正确处理好公与私、利于法的关系，严格做到依法用权、秉公用权、廉洁用权，做到心有所畏、言有所戒、行有所止。”
撰写文章谈“官德”
要求多县市部门学习
“王珉写过一篇名为《政德与官德》的文章，局里还要求我们认真学习。”一名基层公安干警说。
记者了解到，《政德与官德》一文指出，部分干部在政德官德修养方面存在的7种主要表现：工作相互掣肘；官不理旧事；只喊口号，不抓落实；欺上瞒下，表里不一；执法不严，越权违规；政治敏感性不强，缺乏政治责任感；心浮气踩，急于升迁。
文章要求各级党委、各级干部、各有关职能部门要高度警觉、引以为戒，从照镜子、正衣冠、除污垢、交作业四个方面入手，抓好整改工作。
记者还发现，辽宁省多个地方县市网站显示，“要认真学习省委书记王珉同志《政德与官德》的文章精神。”
“说的挺好，要真这样做才行，如今王珉被组织调查，可见是说一套做一套。” 公安干警补充说。
