　　实际上，胡勋璧是“裸官”一事，在知音内部早已不是秘密。据媒体此前的报道，胡勋璧妻子和女儿移民加拿大，“可能有七八年了”。有鉴于此，2014年8月，胡勋璧被免去知音集团党委书记和董事长一职。

　　作为知音创办人，胡勋璧1995年被评为湖北省有突出贡献的中青年专家；1996年被评为“全国百佳出版工作者”；1998年被评为湖北省出版名人；2000年被批准享受国务院特殊津贴，任中国期刊协会副会长。

　　但近年来，《知音》与《知音漫客》的经营持续下滑，广告收入也在锐减。对于《知音》来说，由于报摊经济的萎缩，仅通过邮局征订的盈利与之前报摊经济强盛期相比，发行收入也降幅较大。
