王毅：中冈复交顺应时代潮流和中非友好合作大势
中新社北京3月17日电 (记者 梁晓辉)中国外交部长王毅17日在北京与来访的冈比亚外长盖伊共同会见记者时表示，中冈复交符合两国和两国人民根本利益，也顺应了时代潮流和中非友好合作的发展大势。

　　王毅表示，我与冈比亚伊斯兰共和国外交部长盖伊女士代表各自政府正式签署了《中华人民共和国和冈比亚伊斯兰共和国关于恢复外交关系的联合公报》。两国政府决定自今天起恢复大使级外交关系。中冈关系从此翻开了新的一页。

　　王毅表示，早日恢复中冈外交关系符合两国和两国人民的根本利益，也顺应了时代潮流和中非友好合作的发展大势。

　　王毅强调，坚持一个中国原则，是中国同任何国家建立和发展外交关系的前提和政治基础。在双方共同努力下，中冈关系终于迎来这一重要时刻。可以说，两国实现复交，水到渠成，瓜熟蒂落，民心所向，大势所趋。

　　王毅表示，刚才我同盖伊外长举行了富有成效的会谈。双方一致认为，中冈都是发展中国家和联合国重要成员，拥有广泛共同利益，合作前景十分广阔。

　　双方一致表示，将坚持并夯实一个中国的政治基础，维护两国关系健康稳定发展。

　　双方也一致同意，将加强各层次人员交往，不断增进相互信任，积极探讨在农渔业、加工制造业、投资贸易便利化、基础设施建设、人力资源开发、人文交流等六大优先领域开展合作，让两国人民从中冈关系的恢复与发展中得到实实在在的利益。
