自2014年起，为响应“没有网络安全就没有国家安全”的总体要求，强化首都北京“科技创新中心”的核心功能，每年的4月29日被北京市政府确立为“首都网络安全日”，以“网络安全同担，网络生活共享”为主题开展系列宣传活动，旨在倡导首都各界和网民群众共同提高网络安全意识、承担网络安全责任、维护网络社会秩序。据“4·29首都网络安全日”承办方北京市公安局介绍，今年“4·29首都网络安全日”将依托“1+4+1”的工作模式，全力构建立体化、全维度的网络安全新生态。
