　　新华社广州3月18日电 (记者詹奕嘉) 广东省人民检察院18日下午对外发布信息称，经该院指定管辖，广东省东莞市人民检察院近日决定，以涉嫌受贿罪对广东省地质局原局长、党委书记欧阳志鸿(正厅级)提起公诉。

　　2014年9月，广东省纪委对外通报，欧阳志鸿因涉嫌严重违纪接受组织调查。2015年2月，欧阳志鸿因涉嫌受贿犯罪被检察机关立案侦查并采取强制措施。

　　2015年4月，广东省纪委通报称，欧阳志鸿违反廉洁自律规定、收受礼金，在干部选拔任用等工作中为他人谋取利益，收受巨额贿赂，其行为已构成严重违纪。欧阳志鸿因此被开除党籍和公职，违纪所得也被收缴。(完)
