Reconstruction of Arak heavy water reactor: the successful convening of the first meeting of the Sino-US dual-head
CNS, Beijing, March 18 (reporters Qiu Xuelei and Zhang Su)-18th reporters from China's National Defense Science and technology industry Council was informed that the Director of the China Atomic Energy Authority Xu Dazhe and United States Energy Secretary Frankie Muniz on 17th at the Arak heavy water reactor rebuilding six (the United States and the United Kingdom, and France, and Russia, China and Germany) and the European Union working group first meeting of the Sino-US dual-head.
Meeting reviewed the comprehensive agreement o positive progress in the reform, work on the two sides to promote Arab reform cooperation programs were fully discussed and agreed upon. Successful convening of the first meeting, marks the Group's work was launched to promote the transformation of Arak heavy water reactor and lay a good foundation.
Since full agreement since the Iranian nuclear issue, China's State Atomic Energy Agency playing an active role, and vigorously promote cooperation. On September 13, 2015, the United States, the three parties reached a transformation of the joint statement of intent, published on October 18 and open to the public. On October 20, the six countries and the European Union and Iran to agree on official documents.
Experts pointed out that these results for the Iraqi side smooth removal reactor core, promote the implementation of the comprehensive agreement has laid a solid foundation, won the full affirmation of the international community.

阿拉克重水堆改造：中美双组长首次会议成功召开
中新网北京3月18日电 (邱学雷 张素)记者18日从中国国家国防科技工业局获悉，中国国家原子能机构主任许达哲与美国能源部部长莫尼兹17日共同出席阿拉克重水堆改造六国(美国、英国、法国、俄罗斯、中国和德国)及欧盟工作组中美双组长首次会议。

　　会议回顾了全面协议达成以来阿堆改造工作取得的积极进展，就双方推动阿堆改造合作的各项工作程序进行了充分讨论并达成一致。首次会议的成功召开，标志着工作组工作正式启动，为推进阿拉克重水堆改造打下良好的基础。

　　自伊核问题全面协议达成以来，中国国家原子能机构积极发挥作用，大力推动阿堆改造合作。2015年9月13日，中、美、伊三方达成阿堆改造联合意向声明，并于10月18日对外公开发表。10月20日，六国及欧盟与伊朗就官方文件达成一致。

　　专家指出，上述成果为伊方顺利取出阿堆堆芯，推动全面协议执行奠定了坚实基础，赢得了国际社会充分肯定。
