3月19日，法制晚报（法制晚报微信公号ID：fzwb_52165216）、网易、腾讯、红网等媒体相继报道“湖南岳阳一名当事人称被法官咬穿面部致毁容”，反映我院筻口法庭法官何某某与当事人董某某发生冲突致伤对方一事，现就相关情况作如下说明：
一、2015年9月2日下午，我院筻口法庭法官何某某乘坐中巴车回县城时，当事人董某某尾 随上车指责谩骂其在审理自己与同村村民董某某健康权纠纷一案时没有采信其提供的证据按工伤标准进行赔偿，双方为此发生冲突，何某某右手食指被董某某咬伤 （经法医鉴定为轻微伤），董某某面部被何某某咬伤。
二、事情发生后，我院高度重视，及时与当地党委政府及派出所取得联系，并安排院纪检监察对此次事件进行调查，同时垫付了董某某部分医药费用。此事公安机关已介入调查，并将根据调查结果依法处理。
三、对于本次事件，我院坚决秉持实事求是、客观公允、决不护短的原则，严格依照相关法律法规及纪律规范，配合公安机关及相关职能部门进行调查处理，并诚挚感谢社会各界对法院工作监督！
