去年11月，天长警方在调查一起赌博案件时意外发现一条线索，在该市与相邻的江苏省淮安市一带，隐藏着一个跨省流动赌场，参赌人员众多，赌资巨大，据称参赌人员都是“富豪”。该线索引起天长市警方高度重视，当即成立专案组兵分数路展开调查。经过近一个月的秘密调查，一个装备精良、隐藏极深的赌博团伙浮出水面。

赌博团伙组织很精密
警方秘密侦查发现，赌场组织者十分狡猾，从不固定场所，而且赌场地点一般选择在苏皖两省交界处的偏远地区。
为了逃避警方打击，该团伙每次组织聚赌前，都会对参赌人员进行统计，如果江苏籍参赌人员占多数，就会选择在安徽境内偏僻的场地开赌；若安徽籍参赌人员较多，则会选择在江苏境内偏僻地点聚赌。
此外，该犯罪团伙分工明确，赌场内有专人发牌，赌场外有专车接送，或以微信位置共享，或利用卫星导航系统，前往赌场赌博。赌场外有专人层层把守，一有风吹草动立即疏散。赌场内不仅有人抽头，还有专门为赌徒“放贷”的，甚至有人在赌场内“收房”“收车”牟取暴利。

2015年12月30日下午专案组获悉，该赌博团伙当晚又将在养鸡场内聚众赌博，警方决定“收网”。
当日22时15分，天长警方调集数十位民警，全副武装将赌场包围得水泄不通，在3名侦查人员借故控制赌场大门后，隐藏在暗处的18名特警迅速包围赌场。面对全副武装的民警，赌徒们只好束手就擒。警方当场抓获涉赌人员49名，缴获赌资120余万，查获双管仿真猎枪一把、管制刀具6把、手铐1副，涉案轿车12辆。经查，该赌场“老大”系淮南人曹某，参赌人员都自称是来自苏皖两省的“富豪”。
记者昨日从天长警方获悉，目前已有7人因涉嫌开设赌场罪被刑事拘留，1人因涉嫌开设赌场罪被采取刑事强制措施；15人被处以10至15日不等的行政拘留；其余人员也分别受到了相应处罚。警方正在追捕涉案在逃的其他人员。
