China Railway Group officially launched Malaysia "Malaysian city" project

中国中铁正式启动马来西亚“大马城”项目
中新社吉隆坡3月21日电 (张淼 赵胜玉)中国中铁股份有限公司总裁张宗言21日在吉隆坡宣布，正式启动由中铁投资20亿美元兴建的“大马城”项目。

　　马来西亚总理纳吉布出席“大马城”启动仪式并讲话。他说，马来西亚非常欢迎中国企业来马投资，中国对马投资在过去的几年里大幅增长。他说，单就制造业而言，中国投资从2009年的4700万美元增至2014年的14亿美元。中国(含香港)对马直接投资在过去7年内年增长率达到22%，成为对马投资增速最快的投资国之一。

　　他指出，马来西亚对来自世界各国投资者极具吸引力，这是因为马来西亚正行进在正确的轨道上，政府也不遗余力维护国家的稳定。

　　张宗言在致辞时指出，中铁将会以“大马城”为切入点，积极落实国家“一带一路”构想，努力加强与沿线国家政府和企业界的交流与合作，并且以马来西亚为基地深度开发东盟市场。

　　2015年12月，中国中铁股份有限公司参与的联营体，收购了位于吉隆坡中心地区的“大马城”项目60%股权。“大马城”项目占地面积约200万平方米，总建筑面积约840万平方米，开发期限为15至20年。

　　根据马来西亚政府规划，“大马城”项目将成为吉隆坡最重要的交通枢纽和集金融、商业、文化、旅游、高级住宅于一体的国际经济中心。张宗言当日也宣布，当日成立的中铁股份有限公司第一个区域集团--亚太区域集团公司将落户大马城，成为首个落户大马城的世界500强企业。
