  2015年,中国社会消费品零售总额约为30万亿元人民币。3万亿,相当于全国消费品零售总额的10%,也相当于一个国内中大型省的GDP。


  成为世界第一零售平台,沃尔玛用了54年时间,阿里只花了13年时间。毫不夸张地说,这是人类商业史上的一个历史性时刻,标志着商业发展的“奇点”已经出现,新经济的脚步已经追上传统经济,接下去将是超越和迭代,为全球经济注入新的活力。


  以沃尔玛为代表的传统商业时代结束,阿里巴巴所引领的新商业时代走到了舞台中央。


  超越旧时代霸主

  阿里巴巴集团董事局主席马云在2015年曾经这样来描述双方的差异:“沃尔玛销售额达到3万亿人民币,花了230万人,而我们在淘系里完成3万亿的话,是几千人。这是完全新的技术、新的理念,完全调动了整个社会的资源,是一种让社会共同参与、共同富裕的理念。沃尔玛是自己买自己卖自己采购自己做,我们是要更多的人参与。我们不是自己招聘多少员工,而是我们创造社会上巨大的就业,保守估计1300万的就业,还不包含其他各种各样衍生所诞生出来的就业。3万亿在中国相当于一个中大型省的GDP。”


  从IT到DT 从0到3万亿


  沃尔玛是传统商业发展到极致的代表,而阿里巴巴打造的新商业文明则预示着未来。


  自上世纪80年代后,沃尔玛利用IT技术,支撑了自身的超高速发展。21世纪后,淘宝则基于互联网时代的DT技术实现了自身的大发展。两家企业的交相辉映,典型地体现了从IT时代到DT时代的历史巨变。


  沃尔玛的崛起,与IT技术密不可分。沃尔玛是最早采用计算机跟踪库存的零售企业之一(1969年),也是最早使用条形码(1980年)、利用EDI与供货商进行更好地协调(1985年)、发射自己的通信卫星(1986年)和使用无线扫描枪(20世纪80年代末)的零售企业之一。IT技术对于沃尔玛提高效率、降低成本发挥了至关重要的作用。而生于2003年的淘宝网,则成长于DT时代,支撑它快速成长的技术和商业服务模块是大数据技术、云计算、互联网支付体系、互联网信用体系、智能物流体系等。

  在纽交所上市时,阿里巴巴选择了全球最独特的敲钟方式,形象地向世界展示了他们生态构成。敲钟人共有八位,包括了两位网店店主、快递员、用户代表、一位电商服务商、淘女郎和云客服,还有一位是来自美国的农场主皮特·维尔布鲁格。


  这是一个庞大的生态,开放且极具包容性。


  阿里巴巴没有220万员工,但阿里零售平台却带来了超过4500万个就业机会,阿里巴巴也没有11000家分店,但阿里打造的大数据、云计算、支付、物流等新技术平台却成为了新商业时代的基础设施,就像水电油。


  举一个例子:作为阿里生态中重要的组成部分,菜鸟网络刚刚正式对外宣布完成首轮融资,据业内人士透露,融资金额或超过百亿人民币,估值近500亿人民币。阿里生态之强大,可见一斑。


  从工业时代到IT时代,再到DT时代,3万亿将成为商业发展进程上重要的里程碑,从沃尔玛到阿里巴巴,商业进入了新的时代。


  能力越大,责任越大


  在推动新经济发展的同时,GMV达到3万亿,也意味着阿里巴巴要承担更多的责任。


  马云在参加第八届中美互联网论坛时提到:“今天在谈论中国传统企业经营压力增大,我们似乎更应该看到新经济的增长,势头不亚于美国。我相信,中国巨大内需市场的开发和中国高科技和新兴产业的迅猛发展,正是中国经济转型升级的方向,也是世界经济对中国经济的期待。”


  2016年3月5日正式公布的政府工作报告指出:“经济发展必然会有新旧动能迭代更替的过程……当前我国发展正处于这样一个关键时期,必须培育壮大新动能,加快发展新经济。”


  在新经济的跑道上,中国面临着转型升级、弯道超车的机会,阿里此时的”3万亿”犹如强心剂,而阿里生态的完善,将会赋能商家企业,实现共赢。


  值得注意的是,3万亿对于阿里巴巴来说,只是一个阶段性的节点。马云在去年发给员工的公开信中表示,未来5年阿里将成为世界上第一个平台销售过1万亿美金的公司,未来10年阿里生态需要服务20亿消费者和数千万企业。


  中国消费市场的容量和增长是对阿里最好的支撑。阿里研究院与波士顿咨询联合发布的《2020:中国消费趋势报告》显示:到 2020年,中国消费市场仍将扩大约一半,达到 6.5 亿万亿美金的规模,未来5年消费市场所带来的 2.3 万亿美金增量,相当于当下德国或英国消费市场的 1.3 倍。


  “我们不能只是成为一家当今世界最会卖货的公司,而是希望通过我们的电商、金融、物流、数据、跨境贸易……等平台和服务建立起一个真正的开放透明繁荣的商业生态系统,能让无数的企业方便地从事商务活动。”马云说。


  通过云计算和大数据技术,阿里希望在全球范围内建立起一个可以服务20亿消费者和数千万企业“全球买,全球卖”的商业生态平台,让全世界的中小企业可以通过创意,创新和创造,真正参与公平、自 由、开放、平等的全球贸易。


  马云认为,未来三十年才是互联网技术真正深刻改变社会各方面的时代。


  3万亿,只是故事的开始。
