　　新华网北京3月21日电 据最高检网站消息，3月17日，安徽省黄山市政协原副主席覃金平(副厅级)涉嫌滥用职权、受贿犯罪一案，经安徽省人民检察院指定管辖，由池州市人民检察院依法向池州市中级人民法院提起公诉。

　　检察机关在审查起诉阶段，依法告知了被告人覃金平享有的诉讼权利，并依法讯问了被告人覃金平，听取了其辩护人的意见。

　　池州市人民检察院起诉书指控：覃金平在担任黄山经济开发区管委会主任期间，滥用职权造成国家经济损失，数额巨大，应当以滥用职权罪追究其刑事责任；利用担任黄山市屯溪区区长、黄山市政府秘书长、黄山经济开发区管委会主任等职务便利，非法收受他人财物，为他人谋取利益，依法应当以受贿罪追究其刑事责任。
