　　其实，2015年5月在会见时任国民党主席朱立伦时，习总书记就曾围绕“维护两岸关系和平发展进程，携手建设两岸命运共同体”提出五点重要主张。

　　此次总书记就“命运共同体”做出了进一步阐述。他强调，将持续推进两岸各领域交流合作，深化两岸经济社会融合发展，增进同胞亲情和福祉，拉近同胞心灵距离，增强对命运共同体的认知。

　　“增强对命运共同体的认知”，寥寥数语却语重心长，对两岸交流的未来发展具有重要的指导意义。

　　两岸同胞同根同源、同文同种，历来命运与共，是割舍不断的命运共同体。

　　从历史看，两岸本是一家。从现实看，密切的经济联系已为两岸命运共同体逐步打下了坚实的经济利基。大陆长期是台湾的第一大贸易伙伴、第一大出口伙伴及第二大进口伙伴、第一大顺差来源地与第一大投资地。百万台胞在大陆这片广袤的热土上创业、工作、求学，安居乐业……两岸之间其实早已水乳交融，难分彼此。这对台湾来说，是巨大的优势。

　　所以，我们要持续推进两岸各领域交流合作，深化两岸经济社会融合发展，增进同胞亲情和福祉，拉近同胞心灵距离。要充分考虑两岸双方社会的心理感受，努力扩大两岸民众的受益面和获得感。两岸关系的根基在民间，动力在人民。两岸关系和平发展的新篇章，需要更多两岸中华儿女共同来谱写。目前，大陆正处于改革发展的新航程，将给两岸人民带来更多新机遇和新红利。“十三五”起步，“一带一路”、亚投行战略积极推进，为两岸经济发展和互利合作，提供了千载难逢的机遇和更为广阔的舞台。我们欢迎更多台湾同胞特别是广大台湾年轻人，参与到两岸大交流进程中来，成为两岸关系和平发展的支持者、参与者。两岸同胞应携手共享发展机遇，真正成为两岸交流的主体并从中受益。

　　决定两岸关系走向的关键因素

　　中华民族100多年来苦难沧桑的历史告诉我们，落后就要挨打，国家富强才能捍卫主权和领土完整，才有实力争取和平统一的光明前景。120多年前，中华民族国力孱弱，导致台湾被外族侵占。这是中华民族历史上极为惨痛的一页，给两岸同胞留下了剜心之痛。
