　　2013年10月至2014年4月间，武汉市江夏区乌龙泉街党工委委员、办事处副主任谢名高管理和使用的公车9次被武汉市外的湖北省咸宁高速公路大队、咸宁市通山县交警大队采集到交通违章信息，且时间均为周末。江夏区纪委接到群众举报和交警部门转来的违章信息后，立即成立调查组，向乌龙泉街及谢名高本人进行调查核实。

　　这期间，调查组本着对党员干部负责的态度，先后6次到乌龙泉街，就调查情况与谢名高见面沟通，听取其意见。但谢名高每次一听说区纪委的人找他，就立即外出躲避，并关闭手机，致使调查工作严重受阻。

　　最终调查组在多方调查取证的基础上，查清了谢名高顶风违纪使用公车，拒不接受组织调查的违纪事实。2015年10月，江夏区纪委给予谢名高党内严重警告处分，并报经区委常委会研究同意，免去谢名高街道党工委委员、办事处副主任职务。

　　公车私用，已是顶风违纪。谢名高不仅不知悔改，还企图蒙混过关，拒不配合调查，把党纪法规视为无物，把组织程序视为儿戏，必须予以惩戒。
