此外，上游新闻记者注意到，谭定华也是贵州茅台集团三年内第二位落马的高管，在此之前，贵州茅台集团在任副总经理房国兴因涉嫌受贿犯罪而落马。

公开资料显示，谭定华，1954年生，今年62岁，贵州仁怀人，大专文化，1971年参加工作，1983年4月加入中国共产党。
历任贵州茅台集团财务科（处）副科长、科长、处长，贵州茅台酒股份有限公司财务总监，贵州茅台酒厂（集团）有限责任公司党委委员、贵州茅台酒股份有限公司副总经理等职，2015年2月退休。
据公开报道显示，谭定华最后一次公开露面还是在2014年12月22日至24日，国酒茅台2014年度全国经销商联谊会上，谭定华作为茅台集团领导之一出席会议。此后到茅台集团发布公告称，公司董事、副总经理谭定华先生因到龄退休原因自2015年2月6日起不再担任公司董事、副总经理和董事会薪酬与考核委员会委员职务。

上游新闻记者发现，谭定华是贵州茅台集团三年里落马的第二位落马高管，而在此之前则是在任副总经理房国兴。

公开资料显示，房国兴最后一次露面，是在2014年10月28日上午，当天，他与茅台集团的其他领导一起参加了国酒文化研究会举办的第十一个茅台酒节，并向茅台酒历代祖师、宗师献酒和行鞠躬礼。
据《第一财经日报》早前报道称，在当时的茅台集团领导排名中，房国兴位居第六。
公开资料显示，房国兴从政以来一直在贵州省内，2001年曾任仁怀市副市长，此后一直在仁怀市工作近12年，2011年任仁怀市市委书记，两年后调任茅台集团。
上游新闻记者注意到，2013年1月，房国兴去职仁怀市委书记后，继任者为同隶属于遵义市的桐梓县县委书记罗其方。一年之后，罗其方即被调任贵州省地勘局副局长，2014年6月，即被宣布接受组织调查。
2015年02月26日，贵州省纪委官方网站发布消息称，贵州省纪委对贵州茅台酒厂（集团）有限责任公司副总经理房国兴进行了立案调查。经查，房国兴的行为已构成严重违纪，其中部分问题已涉嫌犯罪。贵州省纪委已将房国兴移送司法机关依法处理。
2015年12月21日，最高检官网发布消息称，贵州检察机关依法对房国兴涉嫌受贿案提起公诉，贵阳市人民检察院起诉书指控：被告人房国兴利用其担任贵州省仁怀市副市长、市长、市委书记等职务上的便利，为他人谋取利益，非法收受他人巨额财物，依法应当以受贿罪追究其刑事责任。
