　　大众网记者了解到，此次地震位置距2015年12月25日发生的石膏矿坍塌事故现场不远。当地国土、地震等相关部门正赶往现场。

　　2015年12月25日，平邑县曾发生一起石膏矿发生垮塌事故，事故引发4.0级地震。根据中国地震台网提供的位置，大众网记者查阅发现，此次3.1级地震位置在平邑县保太镇堤后村，距“12.25”石膏矿坍塌矿井不远。据公开资料显示，平邑县保太镇堤后村位于平邑县城北3公里处，东临浚河，村内资源包括海泡石、硫铁矿等，第四水泥厂也在该村位置。
