据记者了解，由于当地医疗条件有限，当天乘机回国的3名伤员中有一人尚有一枚子弹残留体内，回国后将在国内医院接受手术取出子弹。其他两名同机回国的伤员在枪击事件中腿部受伤，他们将在国内医院接受康复治疗。
另据了解，24日被转至泰国乌隆接受救治的伤员尚未脱离生命危险。25日被转运回国的伤员已在中国云南昆明得到妥善救治，脱离了生命危险。另有一名轻伤员已出院。

当地时间23日21时许，一辆从中国云南昆明开往老挝首都万象的国际班车，在行驶至老挝北部琅勃拉邦与万象省交界处的卡西县境内时，遭不明身份人员枪击，车上6名中国公民受伤，其中2人伤势较重。一辆跟在班车后行驶的当地皮卡车的老挝司机不幸中弹身亡。
中国外交部发言人华春莹24日说，事件发生后，中方即向老方提出交涉，要求老方派军警救援，全力救治伤员，妥善安置其余乘客，抓紧调查清楚有关事件，严惩凶手，并采取切实、有针对性的措施加强保护当地中国公民安全。（完）
