杨燕怡说，当前，中捷关系已进入历史上发展最快、成果最多的新阶段。这次访问是中捷建交67年来中国国家主席首次对捷克的国事访问，将使中捷关系有一个新提升。她说，中方愿同捷方在相互尊重、平等互利等原则基础上，加强高层交往和各层级对话，巩固双边政治互信，加强各自发展战略对接，深挖潜力，扩大合作，拓展各领域交流合作，让两国务实合作更多更好地造福两国人民。
杨燕怡说，中方赞赏捷克积极致力于促进中东欧国家同中国的合作。捷克是中东欧地区重要国家和欧盟成员，是“一带一路”沿线重要国家。中方重视捷克在欧盟内的独特作用，愿以双方签署的“一带一路”建设谅解备忘录为契机，同捷方共同推动中国-中东欧国家合作，共建联通亚太和欧洲两个经济圈的“一带一路”，共同挖掘中欧合作的新机遇，把发展的蛋糕做大，激发亚欧大陆市场的巨大潜力。
她说，中方重视欧洲的地位和作用，支持欧洲一体化进程，看好欧洲发展前景。中方愿同包括捷克在内的欧盟成员国一道，加强相互理解、相互信任，共筑中欧和平、增长、改革、文明四大伙伴关系，深化和扩大中国同欧盟和欧洲各种力量之间关系的良性互动。
杨燕怡说，“十三五”规划纲要和今年《政府工作报告》表明，创新、协调、绿色、开放、共享是未来中国发展的五大理念，这样的发展以及中国的结构性改革对包括欧洲在内的整个世界发展都具有深远意义和积极影响。
在谈到中欧双方如何加强协调合作时，杨燕怡认为，中欧可以在国际贸易与投资、金融、环境、气候变化、互联网、反恐等领域加强协调与合作，推动制订公正、合理、有效的规则。她表示，中方愿本着相互尊重、平等合作原则，加强同欧盟的反恐交流与合作，共同推动国际社会齐心协力、标本兼治，反对“双重标准”，反对一切形式的恐怖主义，维护各国和世界的和平与安全。
杨燕怡还提到，二十国集团已成为全球经济治理改革的重要平台。作为今年二十国集团杭州峰会的主席国，中方将以主办此次峰会为契机，进一步引导全球经济议程，致力于构建创新、活力、联动、包容的世界经济，推动国际治理体系改革完善，为促进世界经济增长和全球经济治理改革提供中国方案、贡献中国力量。
她表示，中方期待加强同包括欧盟在内的各有关方面的沟通协调，共同为促进全球经济增长发掘新动力，为解决世界经济难题拿出新方案，为完善国际经济金融治理谋划新路径。
