微信群聊功能是为了方便好友间沟通交流而设计的，我们一向鼓励用户使用微信群聊功能传递有价值的交流，坚决反对滥用或影响其他用户正常使用微信群的行为。
近期，我们接到用户投诉，有部分用户在微信群内发送大量垃圾信息，造成其他用户无法正常使用微信或手机，甚至利用此类“炸群”行为讹诈他人，影响极其恶劣。对此类违规行为，我们将根据《腾讯微信软件许可及服务协议》进行坚决整顿和打击。
对相关违规用户，将视具体违规程度，按照阶梯性处罚原则，进行包括但不限于限制功能、帐号封停等处罚。截至今日，已处理涉发布“炸群”信息的微信帐号3826个，后续将继续根据用户举报信息，进行不间断处理。

在此，我们提醒广大用户，“炸群”并不可怕。它并非系统漏洞或黑客行为造成，其原理是利用代码软件或手动在微信群内发布大量垃圾内容，一般使用表情、字符、以及可以触发微信表情雨的关键词等，造成在短时间内释放大量信息资源，以达到加重手机处理器负荷的目的；而由于手机的处理能力有限，所以会出现卡屏或软件崩溃现象。
遇到“炸群”时莫慌张，可通过这些方法解决：
可暂时断开网络，重启微信，在微信消息列表中长按此群名字或左划，选择“删除该聊天”，历史群消息（包含炸群信息）会被清理；
可登录微信电脑版，对新的炸群消息进行删除或退群操作，并及时通知微信群主移除发布“炸群”信息者，以免其他用户被“炸群”信息影响。
