秦皇岛市北戴河机场通航 山海关机场已移交军方

2016年3月31日，秦皇岛市交通运输局党委副书记闫天爽在接受澎湃新闻（www.thepaper.cn）采访时确认，秦皇岛市第一座专用民用机场北戴河机场已经于当日通航。
北戴河机场位于秦皇岛市昌黎县龙家店镇晒甲坨村，距秦皇岛市区47公里，距北戴河区34公里。北戴河机场占地2194亩，航站楼面积10592平方米，跑道长2600米，宽60米，能满足大、中型飞机起降要求，设计年旅客吞吐量50万人次，货邮吞吐量1200吨。
据秦皇岛新闻网报道，2004年，北戴河机场项目开始启动。2007年8月，国家民航总局批复北戴河机场选址。2009年7月，国务院、中央军委批复机场立项。2011年5月，国家发改委批复了北戴河机场建设可行性报告，民航华北局和省交通运输厅联合批复项目初步设计方案。2012年4月，北戴河机场开工建设。
北戴河机场通航之前，乘飞机前往秦皇岛的乘客都在山海关机场降落。
山海关机场属军民合用机场，位于秦皇岛市山海关区，距市区15公里，1985年4月15日正式开通第一条空中航线。
闫天爽向澎湃新闻介绍说，虽然山海关机场在2008年奥运会前夕为保障北京奥运会航空运输任务进行过扩建，但山海关机场毕竟是军民两用机场，长期以来各种条件限制了秦皇岛市民航事业和旅游行业的发展。
据闫天爽介绍，此前山海关机场承担的民用航空业务将全部转移至北戴河机场，山海关机场作为军用机场已经移交给军方，并将继续使用。
此外，闫天爽还表示，通航后的北戴河机场新增加了飞往成都、广州等地的新航线。机场的功能也得到大幅度提升。
