格力电器2015年半年报显示，格力生活电器类营收为7.9亿元，占公司总营收仅1.6%，同比下滑22.45%。空调仍然贡献着格力绝大部分营收和净利润。而格力手机业务目前也尚未看到有较大动静。
刘步尘认为，在格力的多元化战略中，较成熟的是大松生活电器，不过整体而言多元化产品难言已经培养成功。
张彦斌对此表示，格力电器不用格力作为其小家电品牌可能也考虑到小家电品类多，毕竟OEM产品质量不像空调那样具有可控性。不过，他认为凭借格力的韧性与营销能力，格力的多元化战略也会打出一片天地。
