　　李书城是湖北潜江人，曾协助黄兴领导武昌辛亥首义，中共“一大”就是在他和胞弟李汉俊家中召开，新中国成立后他又担任了第一任农业部部长。然而，作为他的四女儿，今年98岁的李声英已在汉工作生活60余年，家中十分清贫。

　　李声英向荆楚网记者回忆：1945年日本投降后从北京随父亲李书城来到武汉，当时在武汉大学附小当英语和音乐老师。新中国成立后，父亲赴京任职，她和丈夫就一直留在武汉。
