中新网南京4月2日电 （记者 崔佳明）2日，沪蓉高速江苏常州段发生一起重大交通事故，数十辆车先后追尾，事故已经造成2人死亡，5人受伤。警方称，初步认为本次事故系多个交通事故引发。
4月2日下午13时许，沪蓉高速横林枢纽往东南京往上海方向，2辆大货车相撞翻车，导致3辆大客车、20多辆小客车在多点多段相继相撞，事故发生后常州交警部门联合医疗、消防等联动部门开展伤员救治、现场处置等工作，并迅速指挥常合、江宜高速公路以及新北、武进等交警部门在常合高速横林枢纽、江宜高速罗溪枢纽以及横山桥、青龙、常州北、薛家收费站进行管制分流。
事故现场共有30余辆车受到不同程度损坏，事故发生后共有7人送医，目前有2人死亡，其余5名伤者正在治疗。当地有关部门正在对此次事故伤员进行全力抢救，截至记者发稿，事故现场已经恢复通行。（完）
