　　信息时报讯（记者 周伟龙 通讯员 曾祥龙 柯科）昨日记者从广东省公安厅了解到，建国以来广东公安民警因公牺牲1116人，其中烈士507人。2013年以来广东公安民警因公牺牲78人，其中烈士1人。

　　据介绍，在社会治安形势复杂严峻、公安保卫工作繁重艰巨的情况下，基层一线的广大公安民警经常加班加点，长期超负荷工作，精神高度紧张，身心非常疲惫，许多民警积劳成疾，公安队伍中患病人员大量增加，累倒在工作岗位上的现象时有发生。从全省情况看，因公牺牲的原因主要有积劳成疾、累倒在工作岗位上（发病多为心脑血管疾病，以心肌梗塞、脑溢血、猝死居多），交通意外事故、执勤或抓捕遭遇犯罪分子袭击和训练溺水、旧伤复发等。

　　近三年因公牺牲的主要原因是积劳成疾、交通事故、抓捕遭袭。2013年以来因公牺牲78人，其中积劳成疾62人，占80%；交通事故9人，占11%；抓捕遭袭3人，占4%；其他（训练溺水、旧伤复发等）4人，占5%。

　　其中因公牺牲的警察年龄大都在40~50岁之间，性别以男性为主，所属警种有治安、交通、刑侦、经侦、禁毒、法制、出入境、预审监管等，治安和交通为最多，而治安主要以派出所民警、治安巡逻民警居多。

　　2013年以来因公牺牲78人（男性77人，女性1人），平均年龄46岁，其中治安33人（其中派出所24人、治安巡警9人），占42%。交警15人，占19%。
