  新华社合肥4月6日电(记者 蔡敏)记者6日从中科院核能安全技术研究所了解到,该所先进核能研究团队在第四代核裂变反应堆堆芯核心技术上取得重要突破,研发出新型燃料组件及包壳材料,解决了铅基堆堆芯高份额燃料、高密度冷却剂、耐高温耐腐蚀结构材料等关键技术难题。这一成果打破了国外相关技术垄断,实现了第四代核裂变反应堆核心技术自主掌握。


  铅基堆被“第四代核能系统国际论坛(GIF)”组织评定为有望首个实现工业示范和商业应用的第四代核裂变反应堆。得益于铅基材料优良的中子物理和热物理特性以及稳定的化学性质,铅基堆在产能安全性和经济性方面具有突出优势,还具有良好的核废料“焚烧”处理能力和核燃料增殖能力,是一种能够实现多种应用和可持续发展的先进核能系统。西方多个国家目前正积极推动铅基堆工程化应用,计划本世纪二十年代实现商业示范。


  燃料组件及包壳是铅基堆堆芯的核心构件,其结构设计和所用材料受到堆内复杂的服役环境的挑战。


  由中国核学会理事长李冠兴院士、上海大学周邦新院士、华中科技大学李德群院士及行业内知名专家组成的专家组,近日对中科院核安全所自主研发的“中国铅基堆原型燃料组件及包壳材料”进行了成果鉴定。专家组一致认为:中国铅基堆原型燃料组件及包壳材料实现了自主化研发,填补了国内空白,其中新型包壳材料的耐高温和耐腐蚀性能处于国际先进水平,对促进我国液态金属冷却反应堆创新发展具有重要意义。


  据介绍,铅基堆已被选作中国科学院战略性先导科技专项“未来先进核裂变能-ADS嬗变系统”和国家“十二五”重大基础设施建设项目“加速器驱动嬗变研究装置”的反应堆系统。中科院核安全所负责“ADS嬗变系统”中铅基堆的研发工作,目前已经完成了反应堆系统详细设计及主要技术研发,并在核心设计理念与关键设备研制方面实现了突破,具备了铅基堆工程实施能力。
