据了解,渚碧灯塔于2015年10月开工建设,塔身为圆柱形钢筋混凝土结构,采用蓝白条纹间隔外观设计;塔基为两层八角形结构,取“际天及地、取道自然、刚柔并济”的理念设计造型。灯塔塔身高55米,配置4.5米直径灯笼,装配大型旋转灯器,采用北斗遥测遥控终端进行远程监控;灯塔夜间发白光,灯光射程22海里,周期5秒。为提升灯塔导航性能,灯塔配套建设船舶自动识别系统(AIS)基站和甚高频(VHF)基站,可为过往船舶提供定位参考、航路指引、航海安全信息等导航助航服务。渚碧灯塔的投入使用将有效提升周边水域助航、通航管理及应急搜救能力。
南海是连接太平洋和印度洋的重要海上通道,也是重要渔场,船舶密度大,通航环境复杂,气象海况多变。一直以来,南海海域船舶航行安全保障设施、海上应急救助力量以及船舶溢油反应力量和设施不足,影响和制约了南海海域通航安全和社会经济发展。自2015年5月起,交通运输部在南海海域开工建设大型多功能灯塔,不断加大南海民用导航助航、应急搜救设施的建设力度。华阳、赤瓜和渚碧灯塔的相继竣工发光投入使用,将大大提升保障南海海域船舶航行安全的导航助航能力,为我国承担和履行海上搜寻与救助、防灾减灾、海洋环境保护等国际责任与义务创造良好的条件。
