　　王毅表示，中缅山水相连，唇齿相依。在缅国内局势发生变化之时，作为缅甸的邻居和朋友，能够在第一时间来缅与各界新老朋友广泛接触沟通十分自然。缅军队是缅国家发展稳定进程中的重要力量，中缅两军交往是中缅“胞波”情谊的重要组成部分。中缅两国两军保持和弘扬友好传统，符合两国和两国人民的根本和长远利益。中方支持缅方通过和平谈判早日实现缅北和平，愿与缅方共同维护好边境地区的和平安宁。
