港交所资料显示，刘炽平于2016年3月23日减持腾讯700,000股，每股均价158.912港币，3月24日减持200,000股，每股均价158.918港币，3月29日减持300,000股，每股均价157.952港币，3月30日减持200,000股，每股均价158.915港币。

刘炽平上述4日累计减持140万股腾讯股票，套现超2亿港币。

港交所资料显示，截至2016年3月30日，刘炽平还持有腾讯45,618,000股，持股比例为0.48%。

刘炽平2005年加入腾讯出任首席战略投资官，负责战略、投资、并购和投资者关系方面的工作，2006年升任总裁，负责管理公司日常营运，2007年被任命为董事会执行董事。

加入腾讯之前，刘炽平为高盛亚洲投资银行部的执行董事及电信、媒体与科技界的首席运营官，并曾在麦肯锡公司工作。
