中国造“隐身衣”正逐步走向现实

  新华社成都4月9日电 斗篷一甩,从头到脚遮住,然后就消失在视线里……这一幕是电影《哈利波特》的经典镜头,而中国科学家的研究,正在把“隐身衣”逐步变为现实。4月8日,2016年超材料学术与应用研讨会在成都举行,会上揭示了中国作为超材料研究最前沿,包括“隐身”功能在内的多项应用正在实现。


  超材料不是一种天然材料,而是结构上经过人为设计,突破某些自然规律限制的人工材料,实现对电磁功能的调制和操控需求。简单地说,超材料可以改变、调制包括光线在内的电磁波传播。


  在超材料研究及应用领域,中国已处于世界前沿。据超材料电磁调制技术国家重点实验室赵治亚博士介绍,仅就专利而言,统计2002年至2015年,各国超材料相关专利约4千余件,而国家重点实验室所依托的深圳光启已申请3000余件国内外专利,占整个领域的86%以上。而且已实现超材料底层专利的覆盖,远超波音和丰田等国际企业。
