王毅会见英国外交大臣 表明中方香港问题立场
2016年4月9日，外交部长王毅在北京会见英国外交大臣哈蒙德。
王毅表示，中英双方正在围绕落实习近平主席访英成果这条主线，扩大深化各领域交流合作。希望双方共同努力，保持高层交往势头，增进相互了解信任，确保中英关系“黄金时代”开好局、起好步。
哈蒙德表示，英方高度重视打造英中“黄金时代”，愿与中方切实落实两国领导人共识，大力推进两国合作，加强在国际事务中的协调。
王毅向哈蒙德表明了中方在香港事务、南海局势等问题上的立场。王毅表示，香港事务是中国内政。中国中央政府将坚持“一国两制”、“港人治港”、 高度自治的方针。中方赞赏英方不支持“港独”的表态。王毅指出，中方希望英方在南海问题上采取公正、客观立场，不要选边站队。七国集团外长会议不应炒作南 海问题。
双方还就朝鲜半岛核问题、叙利亚政治解决进程等交换了意见。
