今日记者从当阳县警方获悉，3名山东籍嫌疑人购回新车后在车身隐蔽处安装GPS，转卖给售车行，当新车主从售车行买到该车后，3名嫌疑人在人烟稀少路段将车抢走，并将车开往外地卖给售车行，反复牟利。
据办案民警介绍，今年春节前，在外地打工的刘先生回到当阳老家，在当地售车行花费68000元购买了一辆二手车。2月3日，刘先生带着妻子驾车出行，途经当阳市半月镇当枝路段，一辆白色轿车突然从岔路冲出停在刘先生车前。随后，白色轿车上立刻下来3名手持棍棒的年轻人，用暴力手段将刘先生的小车抢走。
案发后，当阳警方根据疑犯所使用车辆牌照及在当阳的生活轨迹等信息，确定犯罪嫌疑人系山东籍男子周某、陈某、邵某（均系化名），且3人犯案后在山东德州活动。当阳警方抓捕小组立刻奔赴德州，于3月13日晚8时在当地警方的协助下，将犯罪嫌疑人周某和陈某抓获，邵某潜逃外地被网上追逃。
周某、陈某向警方交代，两人伙同邵某按揭购买新车，在车上安装GPS定位器，随即将车开至当阳出售给当地车行。车行将车卖给刘先生后，三人便通过GPS定位跟踪车辆，拦截该车实施抢劫。事后，3人将车开离宜昌，并再次将车出售给外地车行，意图通过此种方式反复作案牟利。
4月3日，嫌疑人邵某潜回德州时落网。经审查，3人均对抢劫犯罪事实供认不讳。
目前，犯罪嫌疑人周某、陈某、邵某均已被当阳警方刑事拘留，案件还在进一步深挖中。
