Guangzhou snow has, this is this year early the big website, and micro-letter friends circle Shang most by concern of message one of, and Guangzhou this field new China established yilai first snow accompanied by of, is last year end of to this year early, national hundreds of a city minimum temperatures refresh history records, Beijing minimum temperatures-17 degrees, create 30 years to minimum; Hangzhou City below-9 degrees, almost 1969 years history minimum value...... Many people do not understand that this dramatic cooling associated with the Arctic continues to heat up. Not only that, the 2008 South China ice disaster, 2014 United States encounters the strong cold snap in 20 years, including frequent storms extreme weather in recent years in the northern hemisphere, can in fact be traced back to miles of the North Pole.

Scientists showed that under the influence of global warming, since 1979, Arctic sea ice extent is a declining trend, while the Arctic sea ice melts, the more, in the East of China, Korea and Japan more region with extremely cold winter weather. For now, the winter in Eastern Asia extreme weather and Arctic temperatures is most closely associated.

Change than in the Arctic sea-ice extent reduced. Scientists ' estimates, if distributed equally around 1990 the melting of Greenland's glaciers, every person on earth could probably get thousands of meltwater; but, 20 years later, this figure to 45,000 liters. It is clear that Arctic land ice is thawing fast.

Glacier melting has major coastal cities poses a direct threat to the world. According to the current rate estimates, by the end of this century, sea levels would rise by about 0.6 meters, like "India Ocean Pearl" Maldives, uniquely in the world, across the international date line, Kiribati Islands across the equator, is likely to disappear completely.

In addition, the barren Arctic tundra began to turn green from mosses, Lichen and Arctic tundra berry plants are gradually giving way to shrubs and boreal forests, and more and more began to appear once only found in warm regions of plant and animal in the Arctic; Overlord polar bears of the Arctic food chain, because of lack of sufficient food and started eating mice, reindeer and even their own kind. Scientists even fear changes in the living environment of the polar bears is much faster than the pace of adaptation.

However, accompanied by changes in the Arctic, but tiny little small temperature changes. Monitoring data show that from 1880 to 2012, the rise in global average temperatures of about 0.85, compared with the global average, Arctic warming increases more dramatically, that's about 2 ℃. But this looks small temperature changes, is the Arctic in recent decades that the direct cause of many changes.

Today, most scientists admit that does have an association between extreme weather and climate change and human activities, and plays a key role in global warming.

In December 2015, nearly 200 countries and regions in the world after difficult negotiations in Paris passed the milestone of the Paris agreements, control the rise in global average temperatures compared with pre-industrial levels within 2 ℃ or less reached a consensus. But the real challenge, far more complex than the agreement.

Ecosystem has its own huge inertia, once you reach a tipping point on climate change, even if the temperature is no longer continued to rise, climate change will happen on its own. If climate continues to warm, unmoved, then humanity will face no choice of the day. Disagreements can have debates can continue, but to protect our living planet, choose greener and greener way of life and development, has no doubt.
