　　霍孟超4月25日就此向澎湃新闻回应称，婚礼举办前已经向邢台市纪委报备“在家举办婚礼”，而该私立中学由其家庭举办，所以“中学食堂就是家”。

　　邢台市纪委宣传部工作人员亦向澎湃新闻证实，霍孟超“在家”“为长子操办婚礼”已在市纪委报备，“目前没有接到有公务人员参加霍县长家婚礼的举报，我们认为一切都是严格按照相关规定办理的”。

　　一名平乡县政府部门负责人4月25日在接受澎湃新闻采访时承认出席了此次婚礼，还给了200元礼金。而河北省以及邢台市此前均已明令：禁止领导干部邀请非近亲属出席婚礼。

　　对此，霍孟超向澎湃新闻记者表示，此次婚礼是“严格按照规定举办的”，而参加婚礼的人员也“都是双方的亲属”，并没有政府官员参加。

　　婚礼在中学食堂举办

　　霍孟超也承认，去年二儿子结婚也是在学校食堂办的婚宴，但已经按照组织程序在市纪委报备，都是双方亲属参加。

　　公开资料显示，位于邢台平乡县城北端的育英中学是一所民办寄宿制完全中学。

　　据《河北工人报》报道，平乡县育英中学1995年6月由赵玉春创办，2008年4月，赵玉春又创办了邢台平乡育英中等职业学校。2010年6月，赵玉春再投资100万元开办平乡育英职业培训学校，先后为本地和京、津等大中小企业培训家政、焊接、乐器制作等专业技术人才600名。

　　两名平乡县政府内部知情人士透露，霍孟超与目前担任育英中学校长的赵玉春系夫妻关系。

　　邢台市教育局中小学后勤服务指导中心李姓工作人员在接受澎湃新闻记者采访时表示，对于私立学校食堂承办宴会没有严格的规定。

　　河北、邢台明令禁止领导干部邀非近亲属出席婚礼

　　早在2002年5月16日，河北省纪委、省监察厅为禁止各级领导干部大操大办婚丧事宜和借机敛财，促进廉洁自律，就出台了《关于禁止各级领导干部婚丧事大操大办的暂行规定》。

　　该规定要求，“领导干部本人及近亲属（“近亲属”是指夫妻、父母、子女、同胞兄弟姐妹）婚丧事宜，除仅在近亲属范围内办理的外，一律实行报告制度。办理婚嫁事要在举行婚礼前至少一天，向所在单位党组织或纪检监察机关及其派出机构口头报告。婚礼结束后15天内，再书面报告操办情况。”

　　此外，领导干部本人及近亲属婚丧事宜，不准通知管理和服务对象、主管范围内的下属单位和个人、外商及私营企业主以及其他与行使职权有关系的单位和人员参加。

　　2015年5月12日，邢台市纪委、市监察局也曾下发《关于重申严禁婚庆等事宜大操大办的通知》，其中对副县级（含）以上干部操办婚庆事宜做了严格规定。

　　该通知要求，“副县级（含）以上干部操办婚庆事宜的，须在婚事7日前书面向所在单位党组织报告，同时书面报告市纪委。报告内容包括：本人的基本情况，操办婚事的时间、地点、动用车辆数量和属性以及宴请范围等情况。”

　　除了同样严禁以任何形式、任何名义向本人近亲属外的其他人员发请柬、下通知，上述通知还强调，“婚庆宴请桌数一般不超过10桌；婚嫁双方同城同地合办婚宴的，宴请桌数一般不超过20桌。如亲属较多，可分别增5—10桌。”
