中新网4月27日电 据商务部网站消息，商务部贸易救济局负责人就美钢铁公司对中国输往美国的碳钢与合金钢产品提起337调查申请一事表示，美国337调查主要针对的是知识产权侵权纠纷，而钢铁产品是较为成熟的产品，不存在所谓的知识产权纠纷。所谓知识产权侵权指控完全没有事实依据，希望美国国际贸易委员会驳回指控。
4月26日，美国钢铁公司向美国际贸易委员会提出申请，请求其对中国河北钢铁集团公司、上海宝钢集团公司等约40家中国钢铁企业输往美国的碳钢与合金钢产品提起337调查，并发布永久性的排除令及禁止令。
该负责人指出，美方一方面要求中国压减钢铁产能，一方面又指控中国钢铁企业控制产量与出口量，这种做法自相矛盾。
该负责人强调，中美钢铁业应加强对话、沟通，共同努力应对当前因世界经济增长乏力、需求不振导致的产能过剩问题。
