中老缅泰将联合开展澜沧江—湄公河航道二期整治工程
中新社昆明4月27日电 (记者 马骞)澜沧江—湄公河航道二期整治工程前期工作联合工作组第二次会议暨前期工作启动会26至27日在云南省西双版纳傣族自治州召开，来自中老缅泰四国代表参加了会议，共商“黄金水道”建设与发展。

　　“澜沧江—湄公河国际航运合作是交通互联互通的重要组成部分，是实现四国互利共赢合作新局面的必然要求，中方愿与老缅泰三方一道，进一步加强沟通协调，握指成拳，推进前期工作，齐心协力推动航道二期整治工程进程。”云南省交通运输厅党组书记王云山在致辞中如是表示。

　　老缅泰三方代表团团长也表示，推动澜沧江-湄公河国际航运发展是中老缅泰多年来的共同愿望，前期工作是实施航道二期整治工程的重要基础，并表示将紧密合作，共同推动前期工作顺利开展。

　　中老缅泰联合工作组对前期工作计划安排及四国联合外业勘察测量等进行了深入磋商。四方代表表示，将继续秉承团结、协作、务实、高效的精神，推动前期工作有序开展。

　　澜沧江—湄公河是一条流经中国、老挝、缅甸、泰国、柬埔寨、越南6国的国际河流，自2001年国际航运正式开通以来，推动了四国沿岸地区经济社会发展。2002年至2004年，中老缅泰共同实施了航道一期整治工程，改善了澜沧江—湄公河中缅243号界碑至老挝会晒的航道。为满足国际航运发展新形势和新要求，进一步促进国际航运发展，中老缅泰共同编制了《澜沧江—湄公河国际航运发展规划》，成立了前期工作四国联合工作组，共同推进航道二期整治工程前期工作，为实施航道二期整治工程奠定基础。
