根据彭博亿万富翁指数，蚂蚁金服B轮融资完成后，马云的财富于周二增长了43亿美元，至333亿美元。排名第二的王健林财富值为327亿美元，第三的香港大亨李嘉诚为295亿美元。
马云在蚂蚁金服中所占股份并不算太多，大约在7%左右。若按照600亿美元估值计算，马云持有的股份市值约45.9亿美元，约合人民币273亿元。在此之前，阿里巴巴报收78.84美元每股，马云所持股份市值152.16亿美元，约合人民币988亿元。马云仅持有蚂蚁金服与阿里巴巴股份的“市值”，已合计约1261亿元。今年2月，胡润富豪榜中，王健林家族是目前国内首富，身家1700亿元；马云家族紧随其后，身家约1400亿元。本次蚂蚁金服完成B轮融资，马云身价随之暴涨，一跃再度成为亚洲新首富。
不过，外界分析认为马云的领先优势可能不会保持太久，因为王健林正在重组娱乐业务，并寻求让房地产子公司回归A股市场，以获得更高估值。这些交易可能影响这位地产娱乐跨界巨头的财富数字。
