日本独立开发者的收入情况

调查的第一个问题就是开发者产品收入的问题,从反馈的数据来看,每个月收入在100万日元(约合5万元人民币)以上的开发者约占13%。28%的开发者收入在10~100万元这个区间。但是月收入在1万日元(约合500元)以下的开发者占到了总数的23%。

这里记者也查了一下日本游戏公司员工的收入情况。首先我们要知道日本游戏行业非开发类职位的收入根据公司规模、工作职能、经验等不同,收入也会有非常大的波动,基本上公司规模越大待遇相对会更好一些。

日本某主机游戏公司给新手开出的薪资在16~20万日元/月(约8K~10K人民币/月),算上住房补贴的话每个月实际工资在19~23万日元(约9.5K~11.5K)左右。当然也有像KLab这样的土豪公司,KLab给刚入职的员工开出32万日元的实习工资(约1.6万人民币),排在日本高额新员工工资榜第二名。

游戏公司非开发类职位正式员工的平均年收入在300万~600万日元(约15万~30万人民币)左右,顶级制作人的年收入可以超过1000万日元(约50万人民币)。

需要注意的是,非开发类工种通常人员较少,手游时代一款产品的非开发类工种可能只有2~3人。而像美术资源类工作则经常外包给更为苦逼的动画行业从业者去做,能够养得起专业美术团队的也只有像SE这样少数的游戏大厂。日本地区中小游戏公司游戏程序员的年薪通常在300万~500万日元(约15~20万人民币),不过相对来说游戏码农的收入要比其他码农略低一些。

另外不得不提的是,很多日本游戏公司非开发类职位加班是没有加班费的。日本游戏公司通常实行两种制度,第一种只要是在公司规定的工作时间段之内,几点上班几点下班都可以由自己灵活决定,每天工作时间仍然为8个小时。而另一种则是“裁量劳动”,意思就是工作流程和时间全部由自己决定,在这套模式下员工就算一天工作15个小时也只会被算作8个小时。

接下来,我们再来看一下全球独立游戏人的收入情况,根据Developer Economics的数据显示,在全球的独立开发者中,月收入100万日元以上的大概在12%;31%的开发者每月收入在10~100万日元之间;47%的开发者每月的收入在1万日元以下,其中大概有24%的人是没有收入。

在问到至今为止推出了多少款作品的问题时,这里可以看出有不少开发者还是主打以量取胜的。41%的开发者已经发布了至少10款应用,其中有5%的开发者的应用数量已经超过51款。而10款应用以下的开发者约占59%。

月收入50万日元以上的开发者中,发布10款以上软件的开发者约占55%,但是并没有开发者推出软件超过51款的情况。从调查的数据来看,像阮哈东这样完全靠量碰机会的开发者在日本地区成功的机会并不高。报告这里也指出了,虽然这里显示出“高收入的开发者”推出了比较多的应用这样的倾向,但是这也与开发者的从业时间和经历有关,所以并不能当作是一种结论。

之后调查也问到了对于开发者来说最困难的事情是什么。从调查的数据来看,对于日本开发者来说,最大的问题在于游戏的策划立项以及如何提升游戏的下载量。换言之就是怎么做游戏,游戏做好怎么卖。其他的还有诸如程序员不够、不知道怎么做营销、没钱、市场的接受程度也是困扰独立开发者的诸多因素。

对于收入超过50万日元的开发者来说,虽然如何增长产品的下载量依旧占了24%,但是游戏的策划这一选项降低了8个百分点,达到20%,从这个角度来看,这些有着成功产品的团队相对更了解自己应该做什么样的产品来满足市场的需求,但是总体来说,这两大问题依旧困扰着不少的开发者。
