据悉，早在今年3月18日，联想集团高级副总裁贺志强就发布了一封内部邮件，宣布联想将成立新的“联想创投集团”，通过投资和孵化手段布局前沿科技，推动联想未来的创新发展。
其中，贺志强担任联想创投集团总裁。联想创投集团包括联想乐基金、投资管理部及部分投资业务。
据贺志强今天介绍，联想创投将专注于核心技术和互联网领域投资，将面向全球进行科技创投。当天，联想创投二期基金正式启动，包含5亿美元，投资方向主要为：云计算+大数据；人工智能+机器人、+互联网、消费升级等。
