至于获得电信业务经营许可证后，中国广电对于电信业格局的影响，吴纯勇接受中新网采访时表示，中国广电下一步的布局还不清楚，所以很难判断其对行业的影响有多大。
付亮则认为基本上无影响。在他看来，中国广电已经错过了进入电信领域的最好时间点，另外在资金、人才和技术等各方面都存在短板，短期内弥补不易。
网络整合是发展关键
因为中国广电获得了互联网国内数据传送业务的许可，所以有分析指出，其或将在宽带领域发力。付亮表示，中国目前已有上百家民营企业获得相关牌照，这个市场竞争也已经很激烈。
电信观察家项立刚认为，进入宽带领域首先就要进行光纤改造，这需要大量资金，但中国广电最缺的就是资金。
据了解，中国广电注册资金达到45亿元，但这和三大运营商比起来，仍有不小的差距。据最新的数据显示，今年一季度，中国移动盈利239亿元，最不济的中国联通也盈利4.8亿元，三家运营商平均日赚3.2亿元。
