外交部：中方岛礁建设活动提升南沙环保能力

　　外交部发言人洪磊6日在例行记者会上表示，中方有关建设活动将大幅提升南沙岛礁的生态环境保护能力，有关做法经得起时间的考验。

　　据报道，美国专家近日表示，南海的珊瑚礁正在遭到大面积破坏，中国大力围海造岛是主要原因之一。菲律宾方面也声称中国在美济礁等岛礁的建设破坏海洋生态环境。

　　洪磊对此表示，南沙群岛是中国领土。作为南沙群岛的主人，中国比其他任何国家、任何机构和任何人都更关心相关岛礁和海域的生态环境保护。中方有关活动坚持“绿色工程、生态岛礁”的生态环境保护理念，经过深入研究、严谨论证，采取了全程动态保护措施，使工程与生态环境保护两者兼顾，实现南沙岛礁可持续发展。中方岛礁扩建工作对珊瑚礁生态环境体系的影响是有限的。
