大部分的人对于UX设计师（或产品/UI设计师）的认识还停留在这一阶段：他们在Sketch或Photoshop里画出美观的线框模型，以帮助工程师更好地进行开发。
更令人感到寒心的是，现在很多人依旧将设计视为一种虚设。“让产品更抢眼一点就行”、“让界面更美观就行”——这些是我担任设计顾问的日子里经常听到的话。人们对于设计的认知止步于此。

设计的本质在于解决问题、帮助建立联系。即便“界面中不含界面”，其实也是需要经过设计的。优秀的设计师在创造用户体验的过程中担任着重要的角色。
• 优秀的设计师会问正确的问题。他们往往保持着好奇心，在接触问题前不会选用任何已存在的解决规划。他们关心的所有事就是理解挑战本身——更好地解决问题。
• 优秀的设计师为机器赋予人性。他们在人和机器间搭起桥梁，以帮助我们消除隔阂。如果他们能设计好人与机器的交互关系、建立起联系并为我们创造福祉，设计的强大力量就会体现出来。
• 优秀的设计师将分散的东西联系起来，为它们创造桥梁。他们发现了用户面临的挑战，然后引导他们使用科技为基础的解决方案。他们能进行系统性的思考，从这种非比寻常的人机关系中，发现伴随而来的潜在增长和规模扩张。
• 优秀的设计师会拥护人类福祉。之所以说设计师能为我们创造一个美好的未来，是因为他们知道无论在互联网上做任何产品，它都可能触及几十亿人的生活。设计师的责任就在于服务用户，为他们设计出能解决问题的产品。
无论UI中包含方框、按键还是文字，亦或者语音控制的对话交互、聊天气泡，优秀的设计师永远都会存在，也永远不可或缺。因为他们使科技更加人性化，在我们和机器间建立起桥梁。
