截止到2016年2月29日，京东集团CEO刘强东通过Max Smart Limited直接持有449,444,989股，占股16.2%。
其中，Max Smart Limited持有投票权为71.5%。Fortune Rising Holdings Limited持股2%，有约9.3%的投票权，这部分投票权归刘强东所有。这使得刘强东共拥有80.9%的投票权。
资料显示，2015年8月，京东宣布董事会5月批准针对刘强东的一项为期10年薪酬计划。根据该计划，刘强东在计划规定的10年内，每年基本工资为1元，且没有现金奖励。
另根据公司股权激励计划，刘强东已被授予26,000,000股A股股权，相当于公司所有流通股的0.9%。刘强东获得的这笔股权每股执行价格为16.70美元(相当于每股ADS 33.40美元)。

截止到2015年3月31日，刘强东、腾讯持有京东集团股数并未发生变化，但高瓴资本持有304,843,330股，占比11%，老虎基金持有420,549,298股，占比15.2%，拥有3.2%的投票权。
通过京东集团2014年和2015年年报可清晰发现，老虎基金大幅减持了所持京东集团股票。
此前，在2015年第二季度，京东股份中对冲基金持有份额从2014年第三季度1.2%跃升至18%，老虎环球基金更是几乎抛空阿里股票，大举买入京东，使京东成为其第一重仓股。
不过，文件显示，到2015年第三季度，老虎基金大幅减持所持京东集团股份。截止到2016年2月，老虎基金消失在京东主要股东行列，以此推算，老虎基金减持京东总股本超过10%。
仅以京东市值345亿美元计算，老虎基金就套现34.5亿美元。若是全部减持，套现金额可能就超过50亿美元，更何况，京东股价长期要高于25.2美元一股，老虎基金套现就更多。
过去1年，高瓴资本持股也从11%降到8.9%，减持京东总体股本2.1%，套现至少7亿美元。
截止到2015年3月31日，今日资本旗下Best Alliance International Holdings Limited持有178,937,180股，占股本6.5%，到2016年2月29日，今日资本也消失在京东主要股东行列。

合并协议生效后，京东以京东到家的业务、京东集团的业务资源以及两亿美元现金换取新公司约47.4%的股份并成为单一最大股东。预计这一交易在2016年第二季度正式完成。
