公告显示，98亿元的交易对价中，乐视网拟向乐视控股等44名乐视影业股东以41.37元/股的价格发行1.65亿股股份。此外还将向乐视控股、乐普影天等24名交易对方合计支付现金29.79亿元，这部分资金占到乐视影业100%股权总对价的30.40%。
作为交易方案的一部分，公司还拟向不超过5名符合条件的特定投资者发行股份募集配套资金50亿元人民币。其中30亿用于现金支付收购，10亿用于制作电影和自制剧，3亿用作版权购买，其他都用于补充公司流动资金。

而整个2015年乐视网净利润为5.73亿元，公司营收130.16亿元，净利润与乐视影业承诺的2016年利润几乎相当，2014年乐视网净利润为3.64亿元，期内营收68.193亿元。

华鑫证券认为：如资产注入能顺利进行，乐视的内容资源将得以整合，原创内容的资源优势将得以显现。目前国内“内容付费”的概念正逐渐获得消费者接受，未来公司内容变现速度有望加快。
乐视网公告发布当天，乐视影业CEO张昭在内部信中表示：注入乐视网后，乐视影业将转型为生态型影视公司。结合乐视旗下的其他“生态型”业务，乐视影业的内容将更多出现在手机、电视、体育等业务的产品中，甚至自有IP有可能将主导一部分其他子公司的产品线。
在艺恩发布的《2015年国产电影发行市场白皮书》中，乐视影业已跃居国产电影发行市场份额第五位。经过两轮融资的乐视影业此前一度传出将会独立上市。
